Tunze is launching a new version of the legendary ATO later this month. This third version has been thoroughly redesigned to once again raise the bar.
At the NordRiff trade show, we spotted the Tunze Osmolator 3. This device, which maintains a consistent water level in aquariums by automatically measuring the level and refilling as needed, has been given a new design and improved functionality.
For example, the pump’s hydraulic system was upgraded. With reduced noise and improved performance, Tunze hopes to achieve even higher customer satisfaction. A filter was added to prevent harmful particles from entering the pump and to ensure it cannot be sucked against the glass—which would prevent the pump from drawing in water.
The sensor that measures the water level has also been redesigned. Three safety features have been built in to ensure completely safe and accurate operation. The sensor itself is made of Eastman Tritan, a copolyester material that offers shatter-resistant, impact-resistant, and chemical-resistant performance.
Production began yesterday, and the new version is expected to hit the market in late September or early October of this year. The price is 249.90 EUR. The nano version will cost 149.99 EUR.
